Hua Wang was born in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. In 2012, Her experimental practice can be seen as a ceramics testing ground as well as a conceptual laboratory that investigates diverse personal, social and political themes. Hua specializes in using different media to address philosophical issues of interest to her, such as aggressive consumerism and gender identity, which are inextricably linked to traditional cultural contexts. She applies all kinds of techniques on materials to respond to conditions where family stories and social events are inextricably interwoven within the autobiographical structure.

 

Hua's artistic creations have been showcased in numerous prestigious international exhibitions and galleries, including Design Miami (CN, US), Sotheby's (EN), Marco (IT), and Anthology Film Archives (US), among others. Hua's exceptional talent has also caught the attention of luxury brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Burberry, for whom she has created a series of works of art that celebrate the power of women through her unique artistic expression. "For me, creation is an act of practice, and art is the embodiment of that practice," Hua declared.
